Businesses are in danger due to the daily emergence of new cybersecurity threats. Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) are particularly at risk because they frequently lack the funds and knowledge necessary to set up an extensive security infrastructure. Following a hack that exposed the PINs, complete names, and phone numbers of over 800 subscribers, it was discovered in May that T-Mobile had experienced its second data breach of 2023. This is the organisation’s second data breach of the year and the ninth since 2018. Early in January 2023, T-Mobile learned that a hostile actor had accessed their networks in November and had taken over 37 million customers’ personal information, including names, emails, and birthdays. Within a day of discovering the data breach, they were able to locate the source and contain it.
